High Current Output
Capable of delivering up to 90 A at 12 V DC, or 90A at 24V DC this supply easily powers demanding loads. 1100 Watts of power
Affordable
Widely available on eBay for around $40–$60, they offer unbeatable value. Retail bench supplies just don't work under the harsh switching environments.
Intelligent and Robust
Built-in firmware provides protection and control, ensuring safe operation under heavy use.
Scalable Power
Multiple units can be connected in parallel, supplying hundreds of amps with automatic current-sharing mode for balanced load distribution. They can also be connected in series for 24V operation. (Note ground screw must be removed on upper supply)
Adjustable Voltage
Output can be fine-tuned between 12.2 V and 13.5 V, making it versatile for various applications. For series supplies 24.4V and 27 V
Optional Delayed Start
A simple modification allows you to incorporate a power-on delay, useful for staged system startups.
Many people attempt to solder wires directly onto the output pads of the L1100A-S0. While this might work temporarily, it’s a bad idea:
The pads are not designed for mechanical stress and can lift or peel off the circuit board, permanently damaging the supply.
Adding standard connectors to the pads often chokes current flow, limiting the supply’s true capability.
The Better Way
Instead of soldering directly, the recommended approach is to use the factory edge connector. By designing or purchasing a breakout board that mates with the supply’s connector, you:
Maintain the full current-handling capability of the supply.
Avoid stressing or damaging the PCB pads.
Gain clean, reliable terminals for distributing power to your project.
This small step greatly improves both the safety and longevity of your setup.
Available in
90 Deg Connector and
Straight Connector
The custom breakout board is designed with multiple connection and configuration options, giving you flexibility depending on your application. The board includes ¼" power posts (up to four total — 2 × 12 V and 2 × GND) for high-current connections.
You can mix and match any of the following features:
Fixed Voltage Output
Provides a stable, non-adjustable 12 V output.
Variable Voltage Output
Adjustable from 12.2 V to 13.5 V.
Note: Some L1100A-S0 models restrict the adjustment range slightly.
Delayed Start
Power-on delay adjustable from 1 second up to 2 minutes, useful for staged or sequential system startup.
Current Share Mode
By tying the current share bus lines together, multiple PSUs can run in parallel and intelligently balance the load between them.
24 V Operation
Series two power supplies together to get 24V

Q: What is the L1100A-S0 power supply used for?
A: The LT1100A-S0 is a 1100W server PSU that delivers up to 90A at 12V DC. Hobbyists use it for motion simulators, RC battery charging, car audio, and other high-current 12V applications.
Q: Can I adjust the voltage on the L1100A-S0?
A: Yes, most models allow adjustment from 12.2V to 13.5V. Some units may have a more limited range.
Q: Can multiple L1100A-S0 power supplies be connected in parallel?
A: Yes, the supplies support current-share mode. By tying the current share pins together, you can safely run multiple units in parallel to deliver hundreds of amps.
Q: Is it safe to solder wires directly to the output pads?
A: No. The pads can lift off and get damaged. It’s better to use the edge connector with a breakout board, which preserves full current capacity.
Q: Does the L1100A-S0 support delayed start?
A: Yes. With a simple circuit, the power-on delay can be adjusted from 1 second up to 2 minutes, which helps when sequencing multiple supplies.
Q: Can i use them for my 24V setup?
A: Yes. By connecting them in series you can power your 24V rigs, you will need to remove one ground screw in the upper supply (12 to 24V) to make it float.
